The perfect romantic escape for two! Enjoy our wooden, rustic Colorado Mountain Cabin with a deer trail to the lake’s shores. The cabin was built in the ’70s and is decorated with French Farmhouse design and beautiful natural landscaping.

The single floor plan and 500 square feet make it easy to move around in; and include a lake-facing living room, full bath, and sunny gourmet kitchen! The single bedroom boasts a queen mattress and charming décor. The cabin is nicely stocked with linens, cleaning supplies, personal care products, and all amenities for cooking. Free Wifi and Netflix.

Glass door opens to the deck which offers gorgeous views of the lake, a charcoal BBQ, picnic table, and patio chairs to take everything in. Smoking is not allowed in the cabin but we do have a dispenser on the patio. The cabin has two parking spaces.

We have two independent cabins next to one another in a friendly neighborhood, which share a secluded ⅓ acre of lakefront property and shoreline, 3-person canoe/rowboat, SUP, oars/life jackets, and a couple of fishing poles. Your family's safety is our utmost priority. While we provide access to various amenities and trails, please remember that using these items and traversing the trails is at your own risk. We encourage you to take necessary precautions and ensure that everyone in your group is aware of their surroundings and safety guidelines, and you are using any trails or amenities at your own risk.

Don't just take our word for it!

Our 3rd stay at Rene’s places, that probably tells you all you need to know. The 1 BR Shanty Chic cottage is small & cozy, but perfect for 2 people & a dog. We love the amenities and the view of the lake. This area of the lake was quiet even during a holiday week.
We plan to return again!

What a GREAT spot!! René was an incredible host. She checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and offered lots of suggestions. The cabin was adorable and such a nice getaway. Incredibly quiet, cozy and serene. The views of the lake are amazing. Really can't say enough good things about this spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and are grateful for René's hospitality!
